MyHometownOhio

myht2Preservation Ohio’s blog, MyHometownOhio, was the first statewide blog promoting statewide historic preservation and downtown revitalization when it launched in July of 2006. Three and a half years later, it is the leading online magazine of its kind, and is interconnected with several other blogs across Ohio and the country. Stories posted on MyHometownOhio have been picked up by major media outlets across the state, including the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Columbus Dispatch and others.

The Ohio Preservation Network

ohiopresnetbannemasterIn late March, 2009, Preservation Ohio unveiled the country’s first comprehensive social networking site for historic preservaiton, downtown/neighborhood revitalization, heritage tourism and smart/sustainable growth.  The Ohio Preservation Network brings Ohioans together to share ideas, enthusiasm and resources.

Ohio Classic Properties

ohioclassiclogotopComing soon will be the latest in Preservation Ohio’s online resources — the country’s first site for those selling and seeking to purchase historic and traditional real estate.  Ohio Classic Properties will also feature a listing of real estate agents statewide that concentrate on such properties, and/or have expertise in the field.  “Ohio’s Great Neighborhoods” will also be highlighted, showcasing traditional residential areas statewide that have developed a strong sense of place and work to keep that sense intact.
